ACS Elects New Directors
At its recent Annual General Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, the American CueSports Alliance (ACS) elected new directors and officers. Steve Allee (MO), Cheryl Armenta (CO), Craig Arnold (WA), Gerard Louviere (LA), Toby Perry (GA), Jay Wegener (MN) and Lee White (AZ) joined the board of directors for the first time, while Julie Ann Mitchell (IN) was elected to the Secretary position, joining incumbent officers Cecil Messer (IN) [President], Mike Wilson (VA) [Vice President] and Ray Lambotte (IL) [Treasurer].

Sandra Chamberlain (Tulsa, OK) – Oklahoma ACS
Dot Cyr (Omaha, NE) – Non-State Association Director
Ted Harms (Calgary, AB) – Director representing Canadian Cue Sport Association
Gerard Louviere (Lake Charles, LA) – Louisiana ACS Billiards Association
Joseph Mejia (Millbrae, CA) – Director representing United States Snooker Association
Robbie Morito (Tampa, FL) – Sunshine State ACS Pocket Billiards Association
Rodney Morris (Humble, TX) – Director representing the United States Professional Poolplayers Assn.
Toby Perry (Blairsville, GA) – Georgia ACS League Association
Jay Wegener (Burnsville, MN) – Minnesota ACS
Lee White (Phoenix, AZ) – AZ ACS
Janet Ybarra (Grand Prairie, TX) – ACS Texas
The ACS sanctions leagues in 39 states, works with the CCS in Canada, produces the 2010 ACS National Championships at the Riviera Casino in Las Vegas, the 2010 Midwest 8-Ball Championships at the Riverside Casino in Iowa, the national Pechauer All American Tour, supports twelve state and regional championships, certifies coaches and referees, and is a non-profit, national organization dedicated to heightening the interest and awareness of cue sports through the support and sanctioning of organized competition throughout the United States.
