Shooterville Owner Scott Soroko Passes Away
Longtime billiard promoter, media and webmaster Scott Soroko passed away on August 14, 2009 while in the care of a Toronto hospital. Soroko had a history of illness and was awaiting a liver and heart transplant. He was 36 yeas old.

Scott Soroko passed away on August 14, 2009. The sport of pool and billiards has lost a good friend.
Soroko dedicated himself to promoting pool and billiards. His web site, www.Shooterville.com, was a regular stop for many players and fans hoping to find the latest news from the sport. Though based in Canada, Soroko and Shooterville.com reached far beyond the Canadian boundaries.

Visitation at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (just north of QEW), Burlington on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. with funeral prayers at 8:30 p.m
A Funeral mass will take place at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Burlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Congenital Heart Alliance, would be appreciated by the family.
