Of his return, Stuart had this to say, “These are tricky times and the landscape of pool is in major transition, but Women’s Professional pool is a product I have always believed in. As a recent retiree from a successful career in finance, I look forward to offering the WPBA organization a businessman’s point of view as it plots a course into a challenging future full of opportunity.”

The WPBA has elected Stu Mattana to its board of directors.
Current WPBA Board President, Dawn Hopkins, comments; “The WPBA Board of Directors is thrilled to announce the addition of our newest Board member, Stuart Mattana. In addition to being a friend and supporter of the WPBA for many years, Stu has also previously served as a board member. His knowledge of the WPBA and passion in making it a success will be a great asset to the organization. Welcome aboard Stu!” Stuart is replacing Barden Winstead, Jr. who stepped down in May due to family and business obligations. Barden was a great asset to the WPBA Board and the WPBA appreciates his efforts during his tenure.
