PHOENIX, AZ (May 5, 2008) - The United States Professional Poolplayers Association (UPA) announced today that the organization and its players plan to take a stand against the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA) effective immediately due to its meddling within the United States men’s professional pool scene. فينيكس ، من الألف الى الياء الاقامة (5 ايار / مايو 2008) -- الولايات المتحدة poolplayers تكوين الجمعيات المهنيه (UPA) أعلن اليوم ان المنظمه والفاعله خطة لاتخاذ موقف ضد العالم للسباحه - بلياردو رابطة (wpa) بشكل فعال ومباشر ، نظرا لتدخل ضمن الولايات المتحدة للسباحه للرجال في الساحة الفنية.

The UPA, as an organization, officially received word just hours ago that a press release was being provided to media from the Billiard Congress of America (BCA) concerning a change in ranking and player communication overview. وقد UPA ، بوصفها منظمة ، كلمة وردت رسميا قبل ساعات فقط من بيان صحفى ان يجري تزويد وسائل الاعلام من الكونغرس البلياردو الامريكية (اتفاق التعاون الاساسي) بشأن إحداث تغيير في الترتيب والاتصالات لاعب لمحة عامة. In the press release by the BCA, it stated that the decision to manage the men’s professional rankings system and player communications duties was to be performed by the BCA. فى بيان صحفى من اتفاق التعاون الاساسي ، وجاء فيه ان قرار لادارة التصنيف المهني للرجال ونظام الاتصالات واجبات لاعب وكان من المقرر ان يقوم بها اتفاق التعاون الاساسي.
The President of the UPA, Frank Alvarez, commented that it is regrettable that I was only informed of this hours before the release. رئيس مجلس UPA ، الفاريز صريح ، قائلا إن مما يؤسف له ان كنت ابلغ هذا القرار الا قبل ساعات من الافراج عنهم. I sit on the BCA/WPA committee and this topic somehow was not presented to the very player’s association that is directly involved. اجلس على اتفاق التعاون الاساسي / wpa اللجنة وهذا الموضوع على نحو ما لم يعرض على اللاعب جدا ان الرابطه هي المعنية مباشرة. The UPA is officially recognized by the BCA as the ‘governing body’ and yet we were not consulted on this matter nor informed by the BCA of any such release. وقد UPA هي التي تعترف بها رسميا اتفاق التعاون الاساسي وكما 'هيئة الادارة' ونحن حتى الآن لم تتم استشارة بشأن هذه المساله ، ولا ابلغ من قبل أى اتفاق التعاون الاساسي من هذا التفرغ. Obviously, we will need time to get to the heart of the matter and deal with it properly. ومن الواضح اننا سوف نحتاج الى وقت للوصول الى لب المساله والتعامل معها بشكل صحيح. The BCA is a trade organization and not a player’s association so this not only undermines, but underestimates the wishes of our Touring Professionals. اتفاق التعاون الاساسي هو منظمة التجارة وليس لاعبا للرابطة حتى هذا لا يقوض فقط ، ولكنه يقلل من يرغب في القيام بجولات المهنيين. It is apparent that the UPA membership as a whole is not being treated equally or with the same respect as its counter part the Women’s Professional Billiard Association (WPBA). ومن الواضح ان عضوية UPA ككل لا يعاملون على قدم المساواة مع نفسه او ما به من احترام من جانب المراه الرابطه المهنيه البلياردو (wpba). Understandably, the player’s are outraged and we believe this matter will do nothing but impair US pool if not resolved in the near future. ومن المفهوم ان اللاعب يشعرون بالغضب ونعتقد ان هذه المساله لن تفعل شيئا يضعف من دولارات الولايات المتحدة للسباحه ولكن اذا لم تحل في المستقبل القريب. It is my position that the will of the UPA is simply the will of the players. ومن موقفي أن إرادة من UPA هو ببساطة إرادة اللاعبين.
In response to both the BCA’s recent decision and the behavior of the WPA, effective immediately, UPA players will not plan to attend the 2008 Qatar World Open 9-Ball Championships currently scheduled for June 27-July 5, 2008. وردا على كل من اتفاق التعاون الاساسي الذي اتخذته مؤخرا وسلوك من wpa بشكل فعال ومباشر ، UPA لاعبا ولاعبة ، لا خطة لحضور العالم 2008 قطر المفتوحه - 9 بطولات الكرة في الوقت الراهن 27 المقرر عقدها في حزيران / يونية - 5 تموز / يولية 2008.

We are the players in the US and I will support my country’s association. ونحن على اللاعبين في الولايات المتحدة وانا لن دعم بلدي الرابطه.
